Mobalco Kitchens

Mobalco is one of the kitchen ranges we supply and fit for homes across London and Hertfordshire. It sits alongside our own handmade Intervari kitchens and the Vaselli stone kitchens, so you can compare them side by side before you decide.

A Mobalco kitchen suits you if you want a considered, modern kitchen with a wide choice of doors and finishes, planned around the way you actually cook and live. We handle the design, the order and the installation, so you have one team to talk to from the first drawing to the last adjustment.

What is included

We look after the whole kitchen, not just the cabinets. That normally covers:

  • Design. Measured drawings and a layout planned around your room, your storage and how you use the space.
  • Doors and finishes. We take you through the door styles, colours and material options in the Mobalco range and help you narrow them down.
  • Worktops. Advice on the right worktop for the way you cook, templated to fit your kitchen.
  • Appliance planning. Sizes, positions and services set out early so everything lands where it should.
  • Delivery and fitting. Delivered to your home and installed by our own fitting team.

If your project also needs fitted joinery elsewhere in the house — a utility, a boot room, a dressing room — we can make that in our Watford workshop to match.

How it works

  1. Showroom visit or home survey. Come to the showroom in Watford to see finishes in person, or we visit you to measure up and talk through the room.
  2. Design. We put together a layout and drawings, then adjust them with you until the plan is right.
  3. Order. Once you are happy with the design, finishes and appliances, we place the order and confirm the programme with you.
  4. Installation. Our fitters install the kitchen and keep the site tidy while they work.
  5. Aftercare. If a door or drawer needs adjusting after you have lived with the kitchen for a while, you call us and we come back.

We are an independent kitchen and furniture company, so we can be honest with you about which range fits your project and your budget rather than pushing one answer.

Our showroom and joinery workshop are on the same site in Watford, and we have our own fitting and joinery team. That means the people who design your kitchen work with the people who make and fit it. If a bespoke piece is needed to finish a tricky corner or an awkward wall, it can be made here rather than bought in.

You are welcome to visit the workshop and meet the team before you commit — most clients find that tells them more than any brochure.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Mobalco kitchen take?

It depends on the size of the kitchen and the finishes you choose, and on when your building work is ready for us. We give you a realistic programme for design, manufacture and fitting in writing before you order, so please ask us for current lead times when you enquire.

Can I see the finishes before I decide?

Yes. Come to our showroom and workshop at Unit 5A, Shakespeare Industrial Estate, Shakespeare Street, Watford WD24 5RR to see doors, colours and worktops in daylight. Photographs never quite show a finish properly, so we would always rather you handled the samples.

Will the kitchen look like the pictures?

We show you drawings of your own room, not just brochure photographs, and you sign the design and finish choices off before anything is ordered. You can also look at completed work in our projects section and see samples in the showroom.

What guarantee comes with the kitchen?

Guarantee terms for the Mobalco range and for our fitting are confirmed in your written quotation. Please ask us for the details in writing before you place your order.

How much mess will there be at home?

Fitting a kitchen is disruptive, but our own fitters protect floors and routes through the house and clear up as they go. We agree the working days and access with you before we start so you know what to expect.

How we prepare a quote

Every kitchen is priced on the actual room and the actual specification, so we do not publish a price list. Once we have your measurements and a first layout, we prepare a written quotation setting out the cabinets, doors and finishes, worktops, appliances where we are supplying them, and the fitting.

The main things that move the price are the size and layout of the room, the door style and finish you choose, the worktop material, the number and type of appliances, how much internal storage you want, and how much extra joinery or making-good the room needs. Talk to us early and we can shape the design around a budget rather than surprising you at the end.
